I enjoyed reading your post and I'm glad that I was able to inspire it.

I do agree that my line of work leaves something to be desired, but at the end of the day the families we are helping as so appreciative that it makes it all worth it.

Sadly, the majority of our death cleanup jobs are suicides... although we've done a number of murder scenes, we're mostly dealing with self inflicted death. That's not to say that Los Angeles and Bakersfield (and everything in between) is not riddled with crime and murders.

We do hoarding too, have done a number of extreme hoarding houses, filthy houses, animal hoarding etc. It really is an unusual job.
