I agree WE - as human beings - can learn much from dogs - especially about unconditional LOVE! Memories are great, but the hurt you're feeling now is real. Thanks be to God for River's time in your life. I do believe I will walk again with Murphy in Heaven. Prayers for your healing; prayers for River's soul. Diane

sallyjaneg Says:       On April 22, 2014 at 10:37 AM I was crying when reading your story about River. Pray you won't be crying as long as I did when our Tipper (black lab) died three years ago. We got our Buddy, another black lab, within four days of Tipper's passing. There's nothing like your 90-pound black lab following you around with his nose up your butt.
