Alternate energy producers are just now on the horizon of practicability. There will be years of improving the reliability of these products. In the interim the Karn/Weadock project should be welcomed because there may be important information gleaned from these projects that would make "clean coal" a real possibility in our energy future. PROVE THIS IS GOING TO BE DIFFERENT SITUATION .. WITH MAJOR MANUFACTURING MOVING AWAY FROM MICHIGAN WHAT REASON DO WE HAVE TO INCREASE POWER GENERATION ??? MICHIGANS AIR QUALITY LAWS ARE LOWEST IN THE NATION AND WE ARE ATTRACTIVE TO COAL PRODUCERS BECAUSE OF LAX REGULATION. WHY ELSE BUILD HERE AND SELL TO OTHER STATES?? WE ARE CHEAP AND EASY ..
