A new Farmers Market is coming to Downtown Bay City May 27th.

A new Farmers Market is coming to Downtown Bay City! With over one year of hard work and determination, the Downtown Management Board & Development Authority along with farmers, downtown residents, business owners and representatives from MSU Extension have brought the market to fruition.

With the growth of downtown over the last decade both, business and residential, it is believed that the market will be a "fruitful" success!


The location for the market is the N. Water Street parking lot next to Studio 23. The Farmers Market will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon to 6:00p.m. and will begin serving up fresh veggies and succulent fruit on May 27th through the end of October!

A Farmers Market committee has now been created to manage all of the details and behind the scenes preparation. Jan Rise has been selected as "Market Master".
