Enjoy Memorial Weekend In Pictures, Brought To You By MyBayCity.com!

With temperatures and gas prices rising, MyBayCity cameras caught many enjoying the holiday weekend at home, right here in beautiful Bay City!

The recent opening of the Infinity Skate Park had all age groups out in the sunshine skating up a storm. Professional skaters have been creating demo tapes for national viewing right here in Bay City! Click Here to Visit the Infinity Skate Park

Ice cream shops were "open for business" and did they ever bring in the crowds. All over town, people were seen enjoying a cone or two in the beautiful weather the weekend offered.

Bicycles, motorcycles and convertibles were also soaking up the sun over the weekend! Baseball games could be heard if you were anywhere near Veteran's Park and the scent of yummy cookouts could be smelled throughout the community!

Some area residents were found "stimulating the economy" by visiting Dunlop Pontiac shopping for a new vehicle! Many are searching for Hybrid vehicles and trading in their SUV's for something more economical with the possibility of a (CNN) reported $5 per gallon by July!

Area campers were found enjoying their weekend at State Park this year. Many expressed to MyBayCity that the cost of gas has caused them to stay and play, right here at home! Campers were enjoying 'smores by the fire, ladder ball competitions and walks by the bay Sunday night.

Boaters have now docked in the marinas and are prepared for a fabulous Bay area summer! Many were seen cruising up and down the river or out into the bay. Some were simply cooking out and having a few cold ones right on their boat while staying docked all weekend!

Even the ducks were out to play this weekend all over town! Basking in the sunshine and frolicking in the dandelions, they too seemed to enjoy this holiday weekend as summer moves into the "shotgun" (front) seat!

But in the end, it was all about honoring the memory of those who have given their lives for their country and their way of life.
