The Michigan Idol singing contest which started in February at the Stables Martini & Cigar Bar, is alive and strong with performances getting bigger and better every week.
Everyone brought their 'A' game last Thursday night. Contestants are judged on Appearance, Stage Presence, Vocal Ability, Crowd Reaction and over all attitude.
One Idol Judge said "We are hoping to see more contestants get creative as far as costume, last year many dressed the part, with wigs, make up and such."
Special performances Thursday night were performed by Michigan Idol finalist, Kate Gembrowski, and Michigan Idol Judge Steve Armstrong from the 25 cent Beer Band. (Both performed at the Prime Event Center on Friday, April 17th in front of the Rascal Flats Tribute Band. Also performing was another Michigan Idol Finalist Taylor Vitany.)
