Spend more time during the busy holiday season with family and friends and support decent and affordable housing in our community by letting Bay County Habitat for Humanity volunteers wrap some or all of your gifts!

Bay County Habitat for Humanity is continuing the over 15 year tradition of Holiday Gift Wrapping at the Bay City Mall during the weekends of November 17th & 18th and November 23rd, 24th, and 25th and then daily from December 1st through December 24th.

Gift Wrapping will be available special hours on Black Friday from 7 am to 9 pm and Christmas Eve from 9 am to 3 pm. All other dates open on Mondays through Saturdays from 10 am to 9 pm and Sundays from 12 pm to 6 pm.

"Bay County Habitat has seen a decline in donations to our Holiday Gift Wrapping in recent years due to the increase in online shopping and would like to let all shoppers know they can bring us their gifts to wrap, regardless of how or where they purchase them." stated Vicki Ribble, Executive Director.

Bay County Habitat for Humanity is also seeking businesses to sponsor the Holiday Gift Wrapping to help offset the costs of the materials and would like to thank FinancialEdge Community Credit Union for stepping up as our first Platinum Sponsor!

Also, coming up on Saturday, November 24th, 2012 from 8:00am-2:00pm at Christ Methodist Church, is Habitat's wreath sale.

As part of an annual fundraiser, they will be selling beautifully decorated, fresh pine wreaths. They are also available undecorated. The cost is $17.00 for decorated, $14.00 for undecorated, and stands are available for $5.00. Sales end November 19th and pick up is on Saturday, November 24th from 8am - 2pm. All orders must be paid in advance. For more information on either on this event, please contact Habitat for Humanity at 989-895-0980.

Also, please contact them if your business is interested in helping out or if you would like to volunteer to wrap gifts as there are still a few shifts available.
