The 1st Annual Bustle By the Bay opened it gates on Thursday, December 6th at 5pm and provided nonstop holiday cheer and activities until the closing ceremony on Sunday, December 9th at 5:30pm.

Bringing a new winter event to Downtown Bay City was one of the goals of the event organizer, East Bank Market's-Darraugh Opelski, Executive Director. "Although the snow made for a little mess on Saturday, we dealt with it and I'm pleased the kids seem to be enjoying the event, the outdoor movies are a hit", she stated.

The other goal was to help Tri-County families by supporting Just for Kids - Maier & Associates Charitable Organization. Contributions made to Bustle by the Bay (DBA of the Just for Kids Foundation) qualify as charitable contributions to a 501(c)(3) organization, receiving full tax credits.

Maier & Associates Financial Group, Inc. along with Graff Bay City were the main sponsors of the event, along with the assistance Wolgast Restoration and many other local businesses and organizations, all who helped make the event come together.

This free, family oriented entertainment, included Santa, craft workshops, a holiday marketplace, Christmas karaoke, an ugly sweater contest, cookie exchanges, carolers, tree decorating and much, much more.

Enjoy a pictorial sampling of just some of the 2012 holiday spirit and activities in Downtown Bay City's Wenonah Park!
