Studio 23 Holds Circus Fun Fundraiser!

It was a Circus inside Studio 23, The Arts Center, located 901 North Water Street, in Downtown Bay City for their Summer Solstice Celebration entitled Circus of the Sun.
The Proceeds of the summer circus event to benefit youth programming.
(Studio 23 provides the Bay Area with a visual arts center and embraces creative educational activities involving the community.)
"The fundraiser was created last year to help raise the awareness of
Studio 23, as well as a fundraiser for our youth programming."
said Ann Gasta, committee member.
Miss Lore's School of Performing Arts performed inside as dining was held outside for the fresh air and first day of summer.
Pat Serresseque was awarded the Life time Achievement award for her dedication to studio 23." Serresseque, said, "I am not done with this, this is just a beginning!"
Gasta said, "Serresseque has been there since the beginning
the award was our way of saying Thank you."
The Band "Empty Canvas" performed and was appropriate for the atmosphere as Mike McMath, of Midland the singer and a artist who proceeded to paint on a canvas on the stage.
Gasta said, "He (McMath) has performed at Studio 23 many
times before, he is always entertaining and engages the audience like no other, we love having him here."

Cotton Candy also with great food and plenty of refreshments were on hand to complete a great and exciting evening at Studio 23.
