The 27th Annual Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing was held on Monday, July 18, 2011 at the Bay City Country Club.
The Annual Golf Outing was presented by Bay Regional Medical Center, Citizens bank in association with Blue Cross, Blue Shield and Blue Care Network.

Summer heat was at its peak, as it was one of the hottest weeks of the year. At 11:14 A.M. temperatures had already soared to 81 degrees. Although there was not one complaint about the heat, there also was not one complaint when showers hit the Bay City Country Club golf course later in the day!
Everyone was called off the course in time before it started raining. Cathy Koebke, Chamber Director of Sales & Marketing, said, "I don't think many minded the rain because it was so hot out."
The majority of the day was a perfect Summer's day. Starting out at 9 A.M. with registration and Continental Breakfast.
Bay Area Chamber President, Mike Seward, said "It was a sold out event, everyone made it in to the club house in a timely matter before the rain for social hour with cold beverages and Hors D'Ouevres." Seward continued, "We had a early dinner and a awards and prizes presentations."
Seward added, "Thanks to our sponsors, prize contributers, volunteer workers and golfers."
