The Saginaw Spirit have invited Katie & Zach Kennedy to return to sing the national anthems on Friday, March 16, at the Dow Event Center in Saginaw.
Game time is 7:11pm.
Linda Schmidt, grandmother of the singing Kennedys Kids is really excited about the upcoming hockey night in Saginaw.
"We will definitely be going to the game," Linda Schmidt said. "If anyone else is interested in joining us for the game, please let me know by Monday night (March 12)," Schmidt went on. "I will be picking up a "group" of tickets during my lunch break on Tuesday."
Parents are Mark and Connie (Schmidt) Kennedy. The children are ages 4 and 5. The Kennedys and Schmidts expect to have as many as 20 family members on hand when the singing starts.
"Maybe we will have to get those two an agent," Schmidt smiled.
"THIS IS EXCITING!!" Proud grandfather is Dan Schmidt of Kawkawlin.

Wow we are so very proud of Katie & Zach. We know Mom & Dad can not wait for you both to sing again for everyone at the game. Wish we could be there to watch them Friday night. You go kids and sing your hearts out. You never know you may need an agent one day like Grandma Schmidt said.
We love you lots.
