CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?

Saint Patrick's Day has rolled around again. This Sunday it's time for the big parade through the middle of Bay City! Of course, with temperatures high enough to break really old records, it feels like spring for sure.

This year MyBayCity.com and Last Choice Country Radio are teaming up to present the parade live on the Internet. We're breaking ground and trying out some new technology but we think it's going to work well. Over the next week Bay Three TV will follow up with broadcast of the parade, much as it's done in the past.

This article is just to get you in the mood, although we're pretty sure that nobody needs a reminder. Everyone is ready to get outside and have a good old time!

The parade officially starts at 2:00. But don't plan to arrive at that time. The crowd will be gathering well before that time and by 2:00 all the best places will be taken.

Just for the fun of it, you might want to check out these St. Pat's stories from previous years. It's interesting just to see how digital cameras have evolved since 2002:
For another take on the subject of parades, check out what was going on in 1978 in this 1978 Flashback article from the archives of the Bay County Sports Page & Bay City Enterprise newspapers. Published from 1976 through 1984, those papers were the "grandparents" of today's MyBayCity.com.
