Garber got an up close and personal look at Brad Redford and his high flying Frankenmuth Eagles as the Mr. Basketball candidate was unconscious hitting from everywhere on his way to school record 53 points.

He had 52 last week against Caro. What makes Redford so good is his fellow team mates, together they have not lost a game all season, 18-0.

The eagles were up 16-11 before Redford wanted in on the action. Once he started he could not be stopped.

Fellow team mate Jeremy Warnemuende hit for three 3-pointers before Redford sank his first bucket. He went on to score 12 in the remaining first quarter then lit it up for 17, 14 and 10 in each successive quarter on his way to the record.

Redford's notoriety has been growing like his scoring total as he broke the Michigan record for consecutive free throws this season with 102 before missing one Saturday night. He has only missed three on the season out of 145 tries.

Redford the record breaker is what he is becoming known as.

On a team where no player is over six foot, they rely on their shooting, as a team they went 18-36 from the three-point arc with Redford hitting 12 of 18.

Even the Garber players had to appreciate the sharp shooting display as they managed just 3-of-6 from outside the arc.

The Eagles threesome of Ryan Keith (17) and Warnemuende (11) and Redford accounted for 89 points in the win.

The Dukes were balanced in their attack with Brett Eichhorn scoring 12, Shane O'Mara 9 and Sean Duchaine and Brad LeVasseur each getting eight, although they could have doubled that output it still wouldn't have been enough.

Redford just gets into the zone and he cannot be stopped, he is averaging 39.9 points per game.

His range is unbelievable, If you have ever seen the Lebron James ESPN commercial where he drains three full court shots, that's what Redford is like, without the trick photography. You must see it to believe it; the kid can score from anywhere.

The Dukes (5-13, 5-7) hope to get it back into the win column on Friday as they host North Branch.
