Friday Night, July 18, 2008 was the Kick-off of a 2-night Tough Gloves and Toughman Pro boxing events at Bay City Hooters. Presented by AdoreAble Promotions, Inc., in association with The American Boxing and Athletic Association sanctioned by USA Boxing.
Hundreds of boxing fans filled the Hooters parking lot for 20 action packed boxing bouts lined up for the nights entertainment including local tough men and tough women and also featured many local A.B.A.A. Amateur Boxers.
Steve Coppler, Toughman president, said, "Fighters from the tri-cities as well as across the state put on an incredible show of skill, determination, and heart and gave the fans more than their money's worth with 20 action packed, hard hitting, toe to toe fights... The annual Hooters Fight nights have become the don't miss event of the summer in Bay City!!"
Gary Richards, Chairman of the Michigan Association USA Boxing, said, "It was another great amateur fight night at Hooter's." Richards continued, " Just an example of all the local boxing we have in the Greater Bay City Area."

Ring announcer and Toughman promoter Steve Coppler had his hands full with 20 tough boxing bouts on Friday night. At Toughman events, Coppler is the busiest man in the world.
