Ship Parties

Friday evening was set aside for sponsors, their guests, and other VIP's. Ships were open for a more relaxed visit and the opportunity to meet crews. Food was prepared by some of Bay City's best caterers and restaurants such as the great sandwich spread shown below laid out by Jack's Deli.

Several of the ships featured entertainers. The "Pride of Baltimore II" featured the popular string group "Antigua Nova". Farther down the seawall was a more electric fare. In the park other musicians performed in the tents on both sides of the river.
