Cougar Girls Dominate the Net in a Clean Sweep

>For the Cougar Varsity Girls Volleyball team the night couldn't have gone any better. Taking the court, after both the Freshmen and Sophomore Cougar teams had each crushed their respective Vassar opponents, the Cougar Varsity team planned to capture the third All Saints victory of the night.

The first game was a close call for the Cougars. With the score tied at 24-24 it was a nail-biting moment for the Cougar fans that packed the gym to watch the Volleyball home opening game. After an incredible display of offense the Cougars just managed to edge out Vassar to take the first game 27-24.

The Cougars were all over the net for the second game. Thanks to some great blockage and incredible some great spikes from #4 Ashley Bowker the Cougars crushed Vassar 25-13 to take their second game of the night.

With the lead already built, the Cougars were ready to strike the final blow to close out the night. It was a close one for a while but the juggernaut Cougars weren't letting up.

Slamming in point after point the Cougars finally attained victory to make their record 3-3-1. Coach Dianna Sutton attributes their epic win to "good communication and teamwork"; she then quickly added "the girls were just incredible at the net". The Cougar take the home court again on Thursday, Sept. 18th.
