Are You On Facebook?
It's Better Then Cleaning House!

Recently, my week-night work load lightened a bit, so with the thought of maybe having some time to myself, I thought my house could use the extra attention . . . any attention at all.
I'll get to facebook . . . just bare with me on this . . . One day at the office, a Swiffer Duster caught my eye, (I hate dusting, so I just don't) but this device made it look so easy, so the next time I went to the grocery store, I picked one up.
As I strolled around the house . . . 'dusting' . . . my husband, was still adjusting to me actually being home, (and me feeling like climbing the walls) - I noticed him glaring at me as if an Alien just took over my body. I said "WHAT?" and still no response. I realized how abnormal this was, (LMAO) then I put down the duster and went into the computer room.
Right around this time is when I finally took a close friend's suggestion (or Peer Pressure, one might say) to join Facebook. Mainly just out of curiosity. Another friend and I agreed we both were not joining. When I joined . . I found they had already joined! HA! (Busted)
I have to admit it's addicting and a time-consuming thing. It gets as routine as checking your email every day.
A business associate, and the friend that talked me into joining, and it has proven it to be a great networking resource, which it is.
It's also just a great way to get in touch with old friends you haven't talked to in years. Or family that lives out of town.
There's just a ton of things you can do on Facebook. I still think it's also a place for people just like to gossip and know other people's business. (I have no interest in going to someone's wall unless I was posting something on it. I will leave it at that.)
NOW . . . what do you think about TWITTER?? It's the same type of social network, and I like the name better . . . clever.
I think I might pull out of Facebook and join TWITTER . . . so I can TWEET.
What do you think??
My best friend (who is neither on Facebook or Twitter) sent this to me
Check it out, its great and so true!

You r so right about fb using up your time! If you have a business to run, family to take care of it will most lkly cut into your time.

In Fact... Research shows that the 'internet' and such things as facebook, chat-rooms ..etc... have become the number one cause of divorces.. it now has overcome... "Finances" which was the number one dispute.
