If you were headed south on Washington Avenue on Thursday, September, 24, 2009 this was the first sign that something was in the air in Downtown Bay City. (Right) It was the 11th Annual Wine Walk East across Beautiful Downtown Bay City, and a beautiful evening it was.
From 5 to 10 p.m., wine connoisseurs tried to make it to 14 participating Downtown's finest restaurants and pubs for fine wines and delicious food samplings which included Two samplings of wine, plus hors d'oeuvres from regions around the world and entertainment.
Participating establishments were:
(Above) This year's Wine Walk started with ticket validation at the State Theatre (913 Washington Ave.) from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

Kimbrue said of the 11th annual wine event, "It's nice whether you were inside or outside for welcoming and visiting old friends as well as new friends."
