I Saw MY First Sign of The Holiday Season

I saw my first sign of the holiday season today . . . No, not the holiday decorations at Menards.

ahh . . . It was the Victoria's Secret Christmas themed catalogs or at least it might have been in the pile of 'two week old mail' that was piled up on my counter, that I'm just going through now.

It takes me at least 2 minutes just to turn from the cover page. The magazines are not of cheap quality, every page is the thick high gloss paper.

If you remember a column I wrote last year entitled "Can You Keep A Secret?" where their clever tag lines were impressive to me... me being in the advertising business of course.

Turning the page . . . all the holiday lingerie and sleepwear, not to mention the boucle sweaters and the hot lip gloss flavors, the stylish hand bags, (I'm still looking for a "user friendly" purse) even the gift cards are beautiful and have new themes.

I'm already drooling . . . over the apparel that is, not to say that I don't have MY favorite Victoria's Secret models. . .

Number One - the chick with the great abs, chicks can be real skinny but have ZERO muscle tone to them, that doesn't impress me

Two - then there's the one with the cool hair

Three - then the other that has the perfect lips

Four - and the one that is just naturally beautiful

There is also the Victoria's Secret edition called 'The Look Book' this is just what it's called ... you just Look... BECAUSE you can't afford to buy anything from this catalog.

It just gets you in the mood . . . FOR shopping . . . doesn't it? ;)
