fwiggles Says:       On December 04, 2010 at 06:30 PM I came on board the USS EDSON DD 946 in the Spring of 1969 as a FTGSN. She was in the Long Beach, Ca. Shipyard at that time. I did three West Pac cruises on her left a FTG2 in Dec. of 1973! I did a lot of growing up on her! She was a Proud Ship, and had a PROUD CREW! Franklin L Weighall fwiggles@webtv.net
